Classic Motorhome sited
Yesterday I saw a Classic Motorhome with the numbers 5990 on highway 95 in Quartzsite.
Is that anyone on the forums or someone one of us knows?

durn, one of these years I'm going to make it there. I'm all over the I-40, I-25, I-15, I-70 box, so you'd think I could drop down to I-10 now and then! Post some photos, please.

quartz land
Hi guy99,
We are not in Quartzite, but wish we were, it is always a interesting place in January. Just curious, is it as busy as in the past, or has fuel prices put a dent in the crowd?

Boy, I wish we were down there! I got a call from my elderly dad this morning. They're in Brenda, just outside of Quartzsite. He said that the predicted high for today is 70; if we were to get to a high of 70 today in Angel Fire, we'd have to have a temperature rise of 80 degrees. Brrrrrrr...
To tell the truth, though, we wouldn't want to be in Quartzsite. Too close to my parents. But there's a LOT of territory in the desert!

No, I didn't see it. I'll see if I can find them.
As far as crowds go, I can't tell yet. Last year we arrived here just before the RV show. Currently there are not nearly as many folks here but they seem to be arriving in a steady stream. Show doesn't start until the 19th dol its a little early to compare.

Quartzsite 2008
I've made it to Quartzsite late Friday after 10 days of repairs on my TV in Las Cruces. Hooked up with Forum member ScrapIrony-2 who provided hand holding for this stranger in a strange land. This place is impressive. I'll do some exploring today and take some snaps for you snow bounders
Mad Max beyond Thunder Dome, has nothing on this place.
I keep expecting to see Tina and her sidekick IronBar!
Lot's of solar and wind turbines.
Good to be on the road again

Hi,
We were boondocking at Quartsite in late January 2008 when the attached two images were taken. We stayed just outside of town, about 2 miles north on the 95. Like it desert rustic, you like it here!
