Quail Roost RV Park

Does anyone know anything about Quail Roost RV Park in Crystal River Florida? We are looking for a place next winter and this park looks nice, good reviews but would appreciate any streamer input available.

Thanks

Bud

Bud, we just left there yesterday after a two day stay. Nice folks, clean park. We had a pull through up near the front of the park...think it was site 40. There is an rv dealer across the street. Great kayaking area. Shopping is about eight miles away in Dunnellon (sp?)

I'm big fan of Copps Brewery in Crystal River. It is next to post office and brewmaster/owner is a math teacher by day.

Quail Roost is a nice place IMO. We've stayed a few times for 3 - 4 nights to visit friends who were staying at Quail Roost for "the season."

Lots of activities at the park - indoors: painting, photography, cards and other games - special event parties for holidays - outdoors: horseshoes and shuffleboard. I'm sure they have lots of other things to do and Crystal River is a fun town and as other people said there are plenty of things to do in the area.

The RV dealer across the street is owned by the same family. They had the part I needed when my water heater quit working.

Good luck.
