Oh well, the more that are afraid to go... leaves more giant shrimp and fresh fish for me... The fresh Grouper is just incredible. It is funny, we have a friend who owns a Pharmacia in Rocky and he said that business is completely dead due to all of the mis-information in the media. As he puts it ...it would be like someone getting murdered in Phoenix so no one goes to Arizona out of fear. Much the same is going on in some of the other great places in Mexico. The news media is great for spreading a lot of fear.

Speaking of Rocky Point... we were thinking that a unit rally/mini caravan could be fun. Meet up in Why and caravan from there. Would you and Val be up for something like that if we could get it organized? Probably next year sometime.

A friend of mine got shot in Mexico last New Years, and they have been going there for years. He always said it was safe there before this happened to him also. Read this.

Or how about that couple shot while camping. OOps, that was "New" Mexico. Better not go there either.

There is a forum in Rocky Point that devotes an entire section to border crossing issues. It seems to address any question I have ever had about everything in PP.
RockyPointTalk.net - The Largest Rocky Point Discussion Forum
Hope this helps

Just got back from 3 days in PP. No probs coming or going. Jumbo Shrimp @ $6.00 lb. grilled outside my Argosy. Yum! Air Temps in the 80's Water in the high 70's. Perfect beach weather. I was the only Airstream product in a pretty crowded Playa Bonita. I did have a problem with the Dometic fridge. Freezer worked, but fridge didn't. Thought I would have a high repair bill, but checked airforums first. Turns out that Dometic fridge doesn't work well if not perfectly level. Set it up level and it worked like a charm. I love this forum!
