a really BAD name for the game

Yah, I have to weigh in on this one....I have many friends who just love this game!

It's like Toss-Across that I remember from childhood, where you throw a bean bag. But instead of trying to play tic-tac-toe and flip the X or O over, you're simply throwing the bean bag through an approximately 5" diameter hole in a slanted board.

Why on Earth they named it after your first day in prison escapes me.

It's rather like the seating position on most any Suzuki sport bike.....

Yeah, they REALLY should have found a better name!

I can imagine critters would like the contents of the "bean" bags.

Well good luck with this!

Good for your soul

Cornhole is a game where your throw bags filled of corn into a hole (corn + hole = cornhole). I will always call it Cornhole.

(How about Black Beano?!? )

Moreover, the title of this thread is probably pretty decent advice regardless of whatever meaning you want to attribute to it.

I have to say, I am kind of proud of all the post to this thread that I haven't made (esp the one I thought about referencing rodents and Richard Gere). Way to much temptation in this thread, way to much.
