Thanks everyone for responding to my heating questions. I ended up going with the Lasko 5160 Ceramic Tower Heater with Remote Control.

Heaters

I use the oil filled heater...no exposed elements...runs on electrical current travels nicely and safe around pets. I feel comfortable leaving it for extended hours it is thermonstatically controlled

Same here, fan of oil based, no noise, no hassle, but more importantly even heat. The DeLonghi listed here has served us well from 20' thru 23' FC's. Put it under the dinette, doesn't get in the way.

I have one of those too. The best ... Better than the other 10 or so I have had. The old model Pelonis.

How about the Caframo Limited 9206CABBX True North Heater? It has a low profile design, anti-freeze setting, 5 year warranty and built in thermostat.

Ditto ... But, a small, good one can be hard to find. I lucked out, years ago, finding one at a variety store. it provides safe, clean heat. We do only have 19-feet to heat, however. Dave
