I've been living overseas for so long that I sometimes forget how beautiful America really is! Those panorama photos are amazing.

Porky, I finally had time this morning to browse your web site-marvelous! Can you tell us more about your panorama techniques? Do you take consecutive photos and "stitch"? What is stitching software? I had the roots of this idea last summer in Glacier, but haven't known what to do with my shots to put them together--or is there some other system you are using? Beautiful photography! Yes ... I take consecutive photos ... overlapping about 20% or so. Most of the time the camera is hand held ... so I have to be very careful to keep the camera on the same horizontal plane with each shot. I purchased a tripod to take of that ... and it really helps with the quality.

There are quite a few "stitching" programs out there ... I have tested quite a few ... and found that Panorama Factory works best for me.

You can download a 30 day evaluation copy at Panorama Factory.

Thanks, we have a tripod, but have never used it. Sounds like a new hobby for summer travels--thanks again!
