Phoenix area in March

I'll be needing to visit the Phoenix area next March for spring training. Wanting to stay for the month. What recommendations would everyone suggest? I know its a late start as far as reservations go, but hoping people here know some tricks. Thanks in advance, Mike

From the Phx Valley.

It's late but maybe still doable. You might start by calling to see who's still got openings and grab one then keep shopping around.

Do you have a side of town you prefer in terms of teams. We kind of consider Phx the center and the valley and then you've got the east or west side of town. We are a major metropolitan city with lots of traffic.

Mesa has lots of RV parks and lots of winter visitors. Plenty to pick from here.

Westworld in North Scottsdale is a parking lot next to a horse arena but very convenient and safe.

Trailer Corral is a tiny park in downtown Scottsdale with occasional vacancies.

Wheel Inn Ranch/Scottsdale RV Park in South Scottsdale is closed

Lost Dutchman State Park is beautiful and in the East Valley.

Maricopa County Regional Parks have several parks ringing the valley.

McDowell Mountain Regional is between Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. Cave Creek Regional sits in North Phoenix not far from freeway access. On the west side White Tanks and Lake Pleasant are really nice parks with good views. You might also look what the stay parameters are and if you will need to relocate mid month.

If you need anything checked out in the East Valley feel free to ask.

Thank you for the reply. The Glendale area, more specific, Camel Back Ranch. I've looked on the internet, but haven't called yet. Guess I better stop procrastinating. Thanks again, Mike

I looked it up. I think somebody here on are forums stayed there a couple of years ago. Looks like a mobile home park with RV rental spots in it. Should be in a nice part of town and easy access to ball games. Let us know how it turns out.

Can I ask the name of the place you're referencing? Where the people previously stayed. Thanks, Mike
