Petoskey State Park?

Has anyone been here? Would you go again? Are the site at the Tannery Camping area easy to get in and out of?

Thanks!

We spent four nights there last summer. It is a really nice park in a very nice area of Michigan. Lots to do in this area. We would definitely go again. Of the sights at the Tannery, some are wide open and some are fairly tight, but we had no problem getting in and out.

Petoskey is a very nice area. We have visited many times. We never stayed at the state park, but did see other AS there. They have a good 4th of July flea market. We stored our AS at an AS park just south of Traverse, so we didn't have to tow from Ohio. It was very reasonable and had beautiful campsites at Silver Lake (the AS park). We also really enjoy Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore which is very close- don't miss it. It is on Lake Michigan. The national campground is very nice. There is a very nice mom and pop italian restaurant close to the fairgrounds in Petoskey, I will try to think of the name of it. Just below the Appletree Inn. Have Fun!

I lived south of Petosky in Boyne City for awhile as a young boy. (..and I have a great fishing story from there too). I would loved to travel up that way again. Beautiful place.
Neil.
