Penn Wood piece of heaven

Larry and I are on the road in PA. We stopped again at PennWood Airstream park for a quick overnight. We wish we could share this evening with all of you. The campfire is dying down and everyone has retired to their trailer. Looking up we see bright stars, the Big Dipper through a canopy of hemlocks. Spring peepers are peeping from the creek, and the creek is babbling along side of the campground. It smells like spring! A nice wooded forest and a warm campfire. How much better can it get??? We wish you safe and happy camping! Hope some of the rest of you get to stop here and take advantage of the little piece of heaven! And thanks to the friendly folks at PennWood for sharing their piece of heaven with us!

Larry and Lou

There are a number of them. There is one just north of Pensacola.

Thumbs up Airstream Parks - Visit One If The Chance Arises

Yes, Airstream parks are a wonderful place to visit. They always have the nicest folks, grounds, and you can't beat the prices.

I am not just saying all this becasue I am a board member and lease holder at Penn Wood Airstream Park. We have also stayed at Virginia Highland Haven and Jersey Shore Airstream Haven.

Hopefully someday we will make the rounds to all of the ones that I know if...

Landyacht Harbor - In Melbourne, Florida
Minnesota Airstream Park
North Texas Airstream Community
Pnderosa Shadows Airstream Park - In the White Mountains of Eastern Arizona.
Texas Airstream Harbor
Top Of George Airstream Park
Washington Land Yacht Harbor
Tennessee Cumberland Plateau Campground

If anybody knows of any other, please let me know so I can add them to our list.

We are trying to move back to Pa. Depending on where we end up, we hope to get on the list for Penn Wood or Jersey Shore. Haven't visited either, yet, but dream of them!

We've stopped in at Penn Wood also. It was our 1st Airstream park when we started out fulltiming. Enjoyed meeting everyone there. Hi Elaine, Carl & Baily Beagle.

Top of Georgia is also a wonderful place. Stayed there for 2 months. Loved going into the town of Helen,GA. To bad we always had to drive the MH in, No toad at the time.

We'd love to have you stop by and stay a spell, even if you don't move back to PA. Remember you do not have to be a member in the WBCCI to stay over. Plus if you are traveling with folks in an SOB, they're invited too, just as long as long as one trailer in the group is an Airstream. Another way to camp at Penn Wood in an X brand travel trailer is f it is vintage (more than 25 years old) and in good shape.

Hey Ricky glad to hear from you. When you are back up in our neck of the woods be sure to stop by and spend a few days.

We have found Penn Wood to be one of the nicest and most relaxing places we have ever visited and make it a destination stop going or coming back from our Airstreaming ventures to the "Mother Ship" (Airstream @ Jackson Center) and last year after we left the International Rally in Madison, Wisc. Looking forward to stopping there either going to he Alumnapalloza Rally this June or coming back from the Rally. Autumn Leaf Rally was Fantastic and that got us Hooked.
