Overnight in Alabama 4 hours from destin recommondation

Can anyone recommend a overnight 4 hours from Destin with 28 ft airstream could be a state park etc thank you

Which way are you coming? Down I-75 to Atlanta, or down I-65 through Birmingham?

On I85 you can stay in the Auburn area, Spring Villa or Chewacla state park. Or my house but I’m about 26 miles off the interstate. On I65 Fort Toulouse CP, it’s on 231 which is the RD to take to DESTIN. Or you could drive 1 more hr and stay 3 hours out at Deer Run in Troy. All of these spots I’ve stayed and all are top notch operations.

Off of I-85 at West point GA, R. Shafer Heard Park on West Point Lake. Its in GA but across the lake from the Alabama shore.

Lake Eufaula, White Oak Creek Campground, see recreation.gov.

Note they have camp sites right on the water. However they close in Nov or Dec for the winter. Which can be quite common of the Corp of Engineers parks.
