Outside panels look like they have dents

We are in Prior Lake, MN staying at Dakotah Meadows campground. Great place, casino, (people are actually winning a little). Great food at casino. Great campground. Only one problem. It has been warm about 85 degrees. Sides of our 2006 Safari Airstream looks like someone's body fell against it in a couple places. As far as we know it hasn't been hit with anything and it is above the middle so no one could have leaned against it. It is hot on the side that has the so called looking dents. Looking at it straight on you really can't see it, just when you look down the side of it you can see kind of an impression. Any ideas????

Look at it at sunrise - Aluminum expands and contracts with heat and cold. At 85 on the sunny side it's expanded.

We've all been there once.

Based on your description this sounds like Oil-Canning. I'd look at it again at different temps to see if you notice any changes.

Didn't know that was the term for it, but that's something that Airstreams all do. My '69 does it, and I've seen brand new ones at the local dealership do it.

Thank you, you are right. We looked at it at sundown and it looked normal.

Below is a photo taken yesterday of a brand new 2011 27' Airstream. It was taken out of a shaded area for photos and brought out into the direct sun on a very hot day. The bowing went away after about an hour.
