We just got back yesterday from our first trip out in our "new" 31 foot 1974 International Sovereign.
Overall, I would say the first trip out was a huge success!

We drove about two hours to Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka near Orlando, Florida. It was a lovely park and very clean. The sites were spacious and had plenty of "buffer" room between them. They have a playground for the kids, and a beautiful spring for swimming. There are also nature trails, hiking trails, and horseback trails. Canoes and kayaks are also available.
The first challenge of the day was to back the Airstream into the site. I had made sure to reserve a spot that was bigger than we really "needed" just so we would have extra manuever room. After trying a couple of times, we finally got her situated on a pretty level spot, and we started the unpacking. After the first night, we realized some of the things we had forgotten, so we drove into the town to get some additional supplies...we'd forgotten marshmallows! How could we camp without marshmallows??
Our TT has been partially remodeled by the PO, so we have an "almost" king size bed in the rear bedroom and two twin beds in the front that make an L shaped couch. It was very, very comfortable for Hubby, me, and two pre-teen girls.
We had taken her in for a systems check previously to make sure everything worked, and they found a few leaks in the copper plumbing, so those had been fixed. Unfortunately, we sprung another leak, so we're probably going to need to get it re-plumbed rather than just keep fixing leaks. The only other problem was that the fridge doesn't work on gas, only electric, but that's not an immediate problem for us as we'll probably be going to mostly parks with hookups. The water heater worked beautifully, and the freezer was cold enough to explode some soda cans that I'd forgotten to remove.

Oh well...
So, one trip down... many more to come!
