Our first trip in our 65 gt....!!!!

It's our first trip in our new to us globetrotter , so nervous. My husband and father in law spent 2 hours yesterday connecting crossed wiring , attaching a battery, figuring out random light swiches. You should have seen my husband and I trying to figure out the water system....."oh you have to pull this to open up the black water tank.... What water pump??!!! "
It's amazing how veteran campers can be so new at airstreaming!
Good thing we are only going 20 mins away.
Any tips for our first trip?

Many people make their first night in the trailer a driveway camping experience. Setup the trailer, cook your meals and spend the night at home. This will give you a good test of all the systems without the pressure of being on the road with no fall back plan.

That's a really good idea . My 5 year old would love that!! I guess the campground only 20 mins away is close to driveway camping.. Haha. The good thing is its just a quick drive home to get anything. It's going to be fun/interesting getting camp set up for the first time! This is our beautiful campground....

It's right on a huge lake.

What we have learned half way through our first camping trip...... Assume every water line, drain, hose and tap leak!!! ( untill proven otherwise)

One week left camping , wonder what other interesting quirks we will discover?
