Only 21 Days Left. Ever. Where are you going to be?

As you are probably aware, there are only 21 days left. Ever. Keeping that in mind, where are you going to be parked for the end of the world?

I was thinking Morocco or New Zealand.

I'm thinking 'summerize' my Safari and head north. I'll never see the floor rot if it does freeze up for a day or two.

We are going to be at Picacho Peak State Park (AZ) with our old and new 4CU Airstream friends at the New Year's Rally, keeping warm with a bonfire and champagne.

Countdown to Armageddon

We'll be sitting in the waiting room in the maternity ward. New grand-baby due that day. Hopefully a boy child this time. All girls in our family.

Have you seen that cartoon floating around the 'net with the Mayan guy chiseling away at the granite? He gets to the bottom of the stone and decides to stop there. The thought bubble above his head says something like "this will make future generations nuts". Gotta love that dry humor.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all!

Jim

I just collected today's mail, and the new Mayan calendar for the next 5000 years arrived. I'm going to hang it on the wall as soon as I get a forklift for this giant hunk of stone.

Hi, a co-worker told me that the end of the World was going to be in about 60 days; [Nostradamus] That was about 35 years ago. When I was a kid, [a few years back ] my Mom told me that the World has been coming to an end since she was 3 years old. She lived for 83 more years. Mom also told me, "Don't worry about anything before it happens." Bob and Lee/'s just might be on another random trip.

Well, I guess there is no reason to work on my Airstream today. Darn! I was making such good progress.

Exclamation

Not sure what the Mayans had in mind...But As I see it
America's world ended a short time ago.
Earth's world has [very] little over one thousand years to go.
My world "ends" much sooner than later I faithfully and thankfully believe.

And y'alls worlds'...well that's entirely up to you.

It's not my story, but I'm stickin' to it.

Actually our universe might end at midnight on Dec. 31, 2012. That's when our kitchen wall calendar ends.

I'm torn,
My new AS won't start production until 1/3/13

Congress goes on vacation until after Xmas, then gets busy?
Or, will we reach the fiscal cliff and the economy collapse?

Mayan calendar prediction comes true, earthquakes and tsunamis cause the release of radiation from Diablo Canyon. I get irradiated and washed from the Calif. coastline

Did I waste my deposit on a shiny dream,
will I get my AS?

stay tuned, , ,

Becky and I will be camping in San Diego for the holidays at the Chula Vista RV Resort on the Bay. We haven't stayed there before, but some friends of ours at work recommended it and their winter rates were good, and the campsite is right on the water. Sure hope it isn't too much like a parking lot or too cheeky (just got their monthly news letter and they have lots of christmas decorations already in place. Noticed that there is a San Diego Airstream group staying there sometime in December, sure hope it is when we are there. It is alway great to meet more SoCal Airstream folks when we travel.

December 7 & 8 Chula Vista RV has their Winter Wonderland and Chocolate Extravaganza. The San Diego group is usually there that weekend.

There is a group of RVers who have been coming from all over for many years who decorate like you have never seen. We have been there for that several times.

We will be there from the 22nd to the 29th. Too bad we will miss the San Diego group. Maybe we will get lucky and some other Airstreamers will be there also. We haven't stayed there before and are looking forward to a relaxing stay. We have family in La Casta Highlands and will be spending Christmas day with them.

Happy Holidays,
