One more day's drive to Big MO! (What's the distance to the nearest WC now?)

230.58 miles, but that is a straight line. Staying on roads is a little longer.

Just tuned in and you are making me hungry with your talk of White Castle even though I don't eat things like that anymore. But when I was a kid and my father would take me somewhere, sometimes we'd stop at WC and get a sack. I'd eat most of them. On the other hand, only time I was in Liberal, was for a good friend's funeral back in 1971.

Richard, if you're coming back through here, let us know.

Gene

Gene - this is a once a year WC stop. A dozen can't do that much damage. We should be ending this trip the end of next month in Gunnison, CO. I will let you know if things change.

You will love Gunnison and the trout fishing! I spent a little more than a week there boondocking on El Pinos Creek.

I am origionally from Kansas and I could have warned you....We moved to
Virginia and I'll be darned, tornados started happening here. Anyway, I see you have Tundra to do your pulling. We just purchased a 2012 4.7 V8 4X4 and hope that will be enough to pull our 19' 2006 Bambi. Also...what I would really like to know is about your beautiful Labs. We were with Lab Rescue for 12 years and am devoted to the breed. We have a 6 year old, yellow male, Austin that we will be taking along with us. My question: any tips? Tom

Traveling with the girls presents a few challenges but they are family and we miss them when we used to leave them behind with a sitter. They are great travelers and will let us know when it is time for a stop. The back seat is all theirs and they are very comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to respond--we will be doing the same next week. If you want to see Austin, take a look at your yellow. GodSpeed the rest of your journey. Tom

We are parked at the International Rally in Sedalia, MO. If you are here or in the area stop by for a visit. We are 7513...

Hi, I have never had one of those and really don't know what they are? Some kind of hamburger? Do we have to cross the Mississippi to get one?
