If you work until you have everything you 'WANT' - it will probably be too late to enjoy it.
Live in the Moment and enjoy today.

Have fun. Do you have your two wheeler with you? Please send us some camp photos when you get there.

My bike will meet me down there.

I'm delivering 28 two wheelers to the Air Force (2nd Rig with 18 250s leaving IL Wed for an early morning meet up and delivery on Hurlburt Thursday AM)

pic below of the rig as driven - Decatur to Ft Bragg, NC - then down to FLA ( I know there are more direct routes but I had business at Bragg needing taken care of before delivery in FL was due)

16' trailer with 10 Kawasaki KLX110L dir bikes.
Averaged 15.6 mpg at 65-75 mph

Hmmmm, is this your making-a-living job, or a little side business?

The first year we had our Interstate, we met a couple near St. Mary's, GA who had a diesel Sprinter van they made special deliveries out of all over the country.

They had a futon in the back that they slept on, had over 250,000 miles on their rig and said it was just getting its' sea legs.

Needless to say, meeting them reinforced our belief that we had made the right decision.

Just wondrin', seems like it would be a great deal in lots of ways to haul for a living with your Interstate.

I see you're just a short drive from us, also in central IL. There is a great rally at Moraine View SP the second weekend in June. Would be great to see another Interstate there.

A little of both - my brothers own World of Powersports in Decatur and Peoria; along with a couple of car dealerships.

I manage all e-commerce and government contracting so other than stopping in and checking on my managers; I can pretty much run the business from anywhere I have high speed Internet.

Delivering the bikes was a choice I made over paying another driver to do it - the thought process was like this: I need these bikes in Destin NLT the 13th; I have a convention in Orlando the 15th - why don't I just drive them down myself and get some miles on this new van!

I am a workaholic so anytime I can work a little pleasure into my job it's a good thing. Actually "HAD" to ride ATVs in the California Desert fir a week with some navy seals a few months ago to give them drivers training - it's rough sometimes but I manage!

Let me know if your in the area. Only time I seem to get up your way is if I'm catching a flight from BMI.

Nice to connect - look forward to a face to face.

Well, sounds like a great system you've got there.

Keep that Moraine View rally in mind. An easy drive for you, and lots of nice people.

Have a safe trip.
