Oddball Neighbor

Don't you cringe when someone in an oddball camper pulls up next to you in a crowded RV park? I'm sure some of my neighbors have had this crinige.

Take a look at this recent photo. Our Airstream sure looks different from all the other white boxes. I think that makes Airstreaming fun.

Dare to be different...

David

That is one of the best things about having an Airstream. It makes me special and everyone else generic.

I had an experience in Myrtle Beach where the empty spot next to us was filled by a junker trailer. Folks had seemed to have just gotten it and it was really in poor shape. At the time I had a Hi-Lo. They had no screen door, no wheel blocks, no bumper caps. Trailer was probably about 21'. Three adults 2 kids in diapers, lots of beer and stuff not working on their trailer. One of the guys while there broke his leg and while they were packing up to leave, we left the campground for a couple of hours. We came back and found that my wheel chocks were gone along with my bumper caps. Thank goodness there was nothing else left outside. I'm sure they helped themselves on the way out.
