Good campground. Do not care for electric sites. Open field next to neighbor. Other in woods. We had 101 and like table on wrong side.

Nova Scotia

Here is a tip. If you need some Canadian money go to there food cop and buy with American dollars and they give change in Canadian money no fees attached. Other stores may do the same.

Usually you get the best exchange rate using your American credit cards IMO.

Hank, have you left yet?

Headed Out

We're headed out Wednesday - Wolf's Neck in Freeport for a night then Cobscook Bay State Park (great campground) near the border for a couple of nights then into New Bruswick to Murry Beach PP which looks good. Then I think we'll do Cape Breton clockwise and take things as they come. We're definitely going to Meat Cove where we were a few years ago - and we're going to do the south coast which looks beautiful and less traveled. Then down to Sea Breeze Campground (anyone been there?) near Canso? Then down that coast a bit. OR - we take in some of Prince Edward Island on the way back west. (Best PPs or campgrounds there anyone?). Then back through Maine to the Common Ground Country Fair in Unity (always a great time). As you can see, we like to keep it loose - give ourselves time to stay in the good places - move on from the less interesting ones.

We just did Cape Breton if you are pulling your trailer, go counter clock wise camp at Broad cove. Clockwise has many steep grades and miles of construction very rough road at the beginning.

Stayed in Porters Lake Prov Pk a couple weeks ago. Loved it. Try for site number 2 - right on the water.
