After setting up camp, Samantha and I rode our bikes up the Pa'rus trail to Canyon Junction shuttle stop. The trail is a paved path from the Zion Visitor Center.

I would've liked to have biked all the up the canyon but Sam's bike picked up a thorn at Canyon Junction. I was able to pump up the tire to return back to Watchman.

Still it was a nice ride even if it as too short.

I'm using a GoPro Hero 4 Silver to take this video. I have it attached to the top of a trekking pro.

Here is a video of us hiking the Narrows. I see a GoPro steady cam in my future.

We took the shuttle up to the trail head. There is a short walk along the canyon on a paved trail before you get to the river. Then you are in the river most of the time as you hike the canyon. We didn't leave very early, probably about 10am when we lined up for the shuttle at the Visitor Center.

We hiked up to the junction of Orderville Canyon then hike up that canyon until we got to a pool that required wading up to our chests. Decided to turn back as there were some dark clouds showing overhead. You don't want to get caught in these canyons during thunderstorms.

We hiked in closed toed water sandals. The river isn't slippery and the rocks on the bottom are smooth. Trekking poles make it easier to crisscross the river.

Here is a video showing our hike to Observation Point. The trail head is the start of several hikes. Initially we were going to hike to Hidden Canyon but found the trail closed due to repairs so we decided to continue on to Observation Point. I'm glad we did because the view was fantastic.

Traveling from Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park via I-15 through Cedar City to Hwy 20 over to 89 to Panguitch and then on to Bryce Canyon.

Here are a couple of videos of our two days at Bryce Canyon National Park.
The first day was hiking Fairyland Trail and the 2nd day was hiking a loop comprised of the Navaho and Queens Garden trails. Two days wasn't enough to see it all. We never got beyond the area around the Bryce Canyon lodge. I guess I'll be back.

I hear you about the bike ride. GoPro mounted on the handle bars. The bike has short mountain bike handle bar and that was the first time riding it for about a year so I got wobbly. I may try experimenting with the camera mounted on a GoPro headband on over my cap. Looks kind geeky but should be smoother video.

I also had the angle of the camera too low. Too much ground vs the canyon.

I've got a couple more videos on the return trip from Bryce.

Here is the leg from Bryce National Park to Frisco, CO. This day I travel from 8000 ft elevation at Bryce to 4,200ft around Green River, UT then back to 9000 ft elevation in Frisco, CO.

The scenery along I-70 is pretty impressive, much better than I expected.

I had already posted this in the towing forums about a month or so ago.

I took a video of my ascent from Frisco, CO to the Eisenhower tunnel to show how my 5.7L Tundra performs towing a 7000lb Airstream up the grade to the Eisenhower/Johnson tunnel on I-70 to Denver.

This is the last video. I didn't bother to take any from Denver to back home in Missouri.

A large stretch of video is missing from the tunnel. I was concentrating on the down grade trying to keep my speed slow enough to take the 45mph curves and the frequent trucks descending at 25mph. This was the least favorite stretch of road on this trip. I must not have set the trailer brakes strong enough. What worked on flat or small hills wasn't enough for the steep descent into Denver. The Tundra's brakes were vibrating when required for some heavy braking. Once back on the flats the brakes felt normal again.
