Newbies Traveling from Thousand Oaks CA up to Calaveras Big Trees
Hi There! We are planning a trip this August to Calaveras Big Trees campground. This will possibly be out first trip in our Airstream (Yikes). We are trying to figure out how long it will take, and if we should divide the trip up and stay at a half way point along the way. Not sure where halfway would be. Maybe Sequoia Nat'l park or Shaver Lake?. We have three small kids so we can't really go more than 6 hours in a day without losing our minds. Any ideas?
