New Moon Roof

A new moon roof is what you get when you misjudge the clearance under a portico.

Presently in the shop as we are 1500 miles from home and six weeks into a 6 month trip.

I suspect the greatest damage will be to my wallet although the ego is pretty bruised...

Yikes! Gas station canopy, or restaurant roof overhang?

Agreed. A few cold ones might take the sting out a bit.

New Moon Roof

It was the door portico in front of the enlisted club at an Air Force base.

Lots of paperwork.

Hard earned lesson but it could have been worse.

I don't even want to know what kind of ribbing you took from the guys inside when they came rushing out to see if they were under attack and by whom.

Fragile Egos

My husband can attest to the ego thing. We bought a new F250 to pull our new used 34' and put a nice ding in the left rear quarter panel. We just picked it up today from the body shop and a few hundred dollars to show for it. It looks like new now and can definitely feel your pain!
