Good catch, Lew. That duck didn't care for getting fixed at all. That's what I get for posting from my phone. The spell check changes all kinds of stuff.

Actually should have been caught by the set up dealer. But everything is done by people, so stuff happens.

Sudden Change of Plans

We have had to change our plans and head back to Jacksonville. SuEllyn's Dad, who is 97 years old, has suffered a stroke, and has been admitted to Hospice. SuEllyn feels like she would like to get back to Jacksonville as soon as we can.

Lucy had her work at the Airstream Factory completed today. Unfortunately, Fred is at the Chevrolet dealer in Wapakoneta, Ohio, awaiting a part that should be there in the morning. Once we get Fred back, we will hook-up Lucy and head south. It's two to three days back to Jacksonville.

While we were in Wapakoneta today, we toured the downtown area. The have some really significant old buildings.

We are back at Lucy for the night.

Brian

Wow! 97 yo, should we all be so lucky! I hope that you can make it back and have some good time with him.

Thank you for the great diary and photos. I love to see the sights from another person's perspective. I am living vicariously through you and SuEllyn 'til we are all patched up and hit the road. I doubt that we will ever spend much time on the East Coast, however. The traffic seems so much more dense than here in the PNW.
