Well, Erica and I finally made the jump from the B190 to a 1995 30' Excella! With the help of some WDCU members we picked it up Saturday the 11th and brought it home, but we've been insanely busy since then. I had a work trip to San Antonio from Sunday-Wednesday, then Thursday I had to get the camper inspected and registered, then get a cap on the truck. That afternoon, we left for a weekend of camping, and finally got home today. That's my excuse for not getting pictures sooner.
Anyway, here are the pictures!
Erica took some pictures on the trip to pick up the camper, so there are plenty of shots that do not actually feature a camper at all. I also took some of her driving the B190, since it's such a rare sight.
We're very happy with it - I think it's much easier to tow than a car on a dolly (longer, but otherwise easier). Much more room inside, too.
This camper is exactly what we wanted.
We had a few minor issues this weekend - the biggest one is that the water heater is being wacky, but we never had a shortage of hot water. So, I have list of things to work on in the coming weeks, but none of them are major.
For the B190, we plan to fix some issues with it, then put her up for sale. We're going to miss it in some ways - while I was driving it today, I was struck by just how convenient of a camper it is. And listening to that 460 run is a sound I will miss - there's nothing quite like a big block (the new truck is diesel).
