Need a camp site near Lexington KY...any ideas?

Hi there!

Just thought I throw a shout out to see if anyone knew of a place I and 2 friends could park my little Bambi over the Rolex three day event weekend April 28th, leaving Sunday May 1, 2011. I know I left it a bit late but it took a few tries for me to think of asking you guys Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks for your help

I booked at the Fort Boonesborough State Park; haven't been there yet but I did hear that it gets a bit busy when there are any events on down in Lexington :~(

Thumbs up Boonesborough S.P. Kentucky

We just over-nighted there 3/31 of last week. It's not far from I-75, easy to find, clean bath houses, paved sites, full hook-ups.

We planned the final emptying of the tanks before going farther north but that day there was no water at the sites due to a broken pipe - (couldn't rinse the tanks out). Repairs were under way at that time. Since there are two dump stations in the park - problem solved.

This is a popular SP year round as we saw a number of reserved tags for the coming week end / week.
