Good discussion! However, in the last park I worked in... Amistad NRA, we had two campgrounds that had limited space and the length limit had to be observed. The best thing to do is to scout out the parks you plan to visit and review their campground limitations. Going to www.nps.gov and selecting a park you can then contact the park to see what the limitations are for trailer lengths.
