Reminder, life time Federal Access Pass for disabled are free. That includes military with VA certified disability as low as 10%. If you apply in person at a federal facility park, etc. they waive the $10 processing fee.

And we just learned at Rocky Mt National Park that we didn't have to wait in the mile-long lines. In the right hand lane you could just swipe your pass to open the crossbar. We'll be hoping that's true everywhere.

I didn't find this true. I had to pay to get into any park.

I just went on line to find out more about parks in Canada. You DO have to pay for Provincial Parks. Others may be free but it is best to check to find out which ones are free.

Hi

If you still are looking for the US Lifetime Senior Pass, keep trying !! We found ours a week ago at a National Forest that had just gotten in a new shipment.

Hi

If you are cheap, you go someplace and pick one up. That saves the shipping. You also get it quicker. Finding a location with them in stock is "interesting". It was looking like they were all gone at "walk in" sites ....

Bob, it wasn't t that I am cheap, I did not know there was S and H at time and it was easier to order than go find them. My time and gas would cost more than the $10.000
My ? Is does everyone need one or does one cover myself and wife. I see where some are ordering extras.

Where to buy Senior Pass

Here's a list of places in each state where you can by a pass.

List also includes a phone number for each office, so you can call first to be sure they have passes in hand (there has been a run on passes recently and some places have sold out).

https://store.usgs.gov/sites/default...suanceList.pdf

If the office has sold out, the people there can give you a rain check, I believe.

Last day to get your $10 pass? August 27

The Sr. Pass covers your vehicle and passengers. Pile in as many as you can! They do ask for your ID many times to verify it's your pass. Could be why some folks ordering more so spouse has her own...$10....

Not required as one pass covers a car-full, but we thought it might be more convenient in some situations for each of us to have one. Besides, if one pass gets lost we have a spare and won't have to pay $80 for a replacement!
