Nashville, TN Campground

I am taking my airstream to Nashville, Tn the first of June for 2 months. My daughters are going to be participating in a camp & school near Belmont University. So far it appears my best options are campgrounds out near the Opryland Hotel, do anyone have a better/closer suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Greg

I have found the website campgroundreviews.com to be helpful in these situations.

State Park

The Cedars of Lebanon State Park is on the east side of Nashville. A nice small wooded park. It is about a 30 min. drive to get in to Nashville. It is convenient to the highway that takes you to town.

In addition to the campgrounds out by Opryland Hotel, you might want to check out this one. I only very recently found out about it and have not checked it out.

Stonegate RV Park | Nashville RV Parks : Stonegate RV Park near lakes of Nashville TN

Our favorite in the area is Seven Points Campground on Percy Priest Lake. It is a Corps of Engineer Campground so has a 14-day stay limit. Also may not have all the amentities that you would desire.

We camped at Two Rivers RV Park near Opreyland last July and found it to be a quiet clean campground with a pool and the rates were as reasonable as any in that area. One night a week there is a live music performance outside the Office & Rec Hall. We were attending a convention in the center of Nashville and found it to be reasonably convenient to go back and forth.

Thanks for your thoughts, it sounds like the ones on Briley Pky may be our best option. Although, not very convenient to Belmont University :-( .
Thanks for the suggestions,
Greg

Seven Points Campground located on J. Percy Priest Lake, seven miles east of Nashville is VERY nice.

Another option that you might want to check out is Nashville Shores. They have a web site - nashville shores.com - I believe.
