Name Registry

While attempting multiple time to register our AS on the Name Registry, using my MacBook Pro, I found that if you don't enter information into the Trailer BIO/Story box and skip on down to Trailer Image box and select a photo to upload, and then enter the displayed security letters/numbers and then press the round enter button, once the screen refreshes you'll get an error indicating there's a problem with a the photo you selected. It's not the photo causing the error it's the fact that the Trailer BIO/Story has to be filled out. Once I entered info in this box, all went well. Hope this helps anyone/some if they run up against this problem. If the marketing group at AS would identify the required field that need to be filled in, it would be helpful. Good luck!

Thanks VERY MUCH for this post. I just spent the last hour trying to figure out why I was getting an error message. Because of your post I should be away to the races now.
thanks again

Cheers
Doug

This needs to be a sticky as it gets repeated almost weekly.

So - If I'm understanding this correctly the problem is here: https://www.airstream.com/community/name-registry/

That is at Airstream Incs website and you would probably get a better result if you contacted their customer support as AIRforums is not associated with the mother ship

I had no problem with the registration process (amazing, since I always have trouble with this sort of thing). And today, we received our little round gizmo. Actually, it's much better than I expected, a thicker, "beefier" feel, and all the text on the disc was engraved or stamped... not just "painted on" like I expected.

All in all, pretty nice, and for free to boot!

I'm requesting that the admins delete this post, since it looks like the issue has been resolved.

Just for clarity are you asking that RFP's post be deleted or the complete thread? I'm guessing the RFP's post (and success) is based on he might be using a different web browser or computer. This issue might be Safari and/or Mac related. Don't know this for sure, but it might be...

All I know is your original posted saved my bacon and without it I would still be trang to figure out what was going on.

Thanks again

Doug

When I was going through the registration process some six weeks ago, I had the exact problem described in the original post. I am using Chrome on my PC. Whether the problem is 'solved' or not today is something I do not know... I do know that it wasn't solved when I registered and the original post helped me to be successful.

If my post has been helpful, then best if it's not removed.

I had a problem back in November thought I had registered but it didn't register for some reason. After checking with AS I resubmitted and it said it took. Now just waiting, think it's been close to two months.

I called AS main # and I believe it's handled by marketing.
