Hi and thanks Janet - I will certainly be showing Price your message and see what he thinks!! I'm not instrumentally adept or music business savvy, just a thoughtful listener and lover of fine quality music!!

I think there may be something to my having downloaded Mozilla as my internet access? (I'm also no good at computer terminology). I think it may have something to do with the ability to download any site with sound cause I just tried your cdbaby site and can't get anything there either. I do think we are still experiencing some tech issues w/the winds site tho since other friends and online acquantences have said so.

Price (husband) asked me to check a new website he and his music partner (Eric) have had developed for their music business. It is suppose to give people the opportunity to hear a section of music from the cd they have created. Now, here is where I need some help. When I go to the site and try any of the options to hear a song - I get nothing.
Click on the New CD release button to the left (in blue) and that will take you to the page with option to listen. Thanks you guys...I can't figure out why I'm left out.
Leigh, I played a couple of selections (and bought the cd) with all three choices of media. WMA played instantly (I have cable internet), the other two had a 15-30 second delay, but played with quick time, and real player.
BTW, I have your hubcaps, if I can ever get to the post office with them.

Support Your Local Airstream Artist!

This thread has given me an idea, although I don't know how Andy & the moderators would feel about it.
Maybe a thread could be started with our, umm, "local" talent submitting posts with links or phone numbers for whatever they do to subsidise their Aluminum obsession. Maybe place it in the classified area of the forum. I have bought Airstream refrigerator magnets, greeting cards, mouse pads, potholders, cd's, etc. from forum members. Anybody else think this may be a good idea, or have I been out in the sun too long again?

As long as we don't offer items for sale here, I don't think anyone would mind a link for a member's music or art or wehatever, as long as they are here for the Airstream connection first. We would not want people to join strictly to promote their agenda or sell their item---not that that ever happens of course

Terry - I have to tell you the guys were so excited last night!! Eric (native american flute player) has been monitoring the website since its "opening" and he called us to say the 1st SALE had been recorded. YOU my fellow Airstream enthusiast, are that someone! THANK YOU!! Eric is fairly well known here in the Denver area - he plays regularly at a restaraunt called "The Fort" which is quite well known nationally and frequented by people from all over the world. People eating there had asked him regularly if he had a recording they could purchase, this cd is the result.

Also, thanks for thinking of the hubcaps. I know you are in the middle of a recovery after so many hits by Mother Nature, so was not going to bug you. When you are ready, I'm sure you will get them sent off. If you can just PM me when you do, so I can be watching.

Thanks to anyone else who takes the time to check out the music. If the website does not work for even one person, the webmaster needs to know. He is getting paid to know and wants that info.

Road Trip by Pottery Barn

My wife found this CD for me. Being forty something, I like the music on it as well as the graphics.

Alan Jackson, George Strait, Vince Gill and George Jones on the iPod for me. In the words of W, "I like both kinds of music, Country & Western".

Flirting with Highways

Mp3 player on shuffle co-pilot w/note pad. like listening to MixMaster Chaos laying down tracks like the road lays down the view. All from your own personal

radio station "comercal FREE!" note pad for mixes you just want to share or hear again.
Burned one mix and title it "Flirting with Highways Vol.2" Vol. 1 is stuck on tape
from a time I only dreampt of the road. Drive on.

Xm

We have XM in the Suburban, we rarely listen to our c-ds any more. We are having a second XM/radio/c-d installed in our Overlander. Any other X-M fans out there??

Xm

Our son gifted us an XM radio for the MO and we have fell in love with it. The only problem was installing the magnetic antenna to the aluminum skin. Now we can travel across country and listen to one station, keep track of the weather, or several news stations. This is the only way to go for people traveling on the road.

XM fans--yah whoo! Have it in the truck; miss it when I'm not. We still have a few fav cd's we take with us, but XM is the answer on the road. It's only blipped a couple of times when we drove through deep canyons. It's an easy system to spoil to.
