Murfreesboro, TN, recommendations?

We're headed out in June for a couple weeks to Murfreesboro, TN (family stuff there and Nashville)... Anyone have recommendations on RV parks in the area? We're in a 34' w/slide and prefer full hookups. Thanks!

Hi y'all,

We recently stayed a few days at Henry Horton SP, which would be about 45min from Murfreesboro. Nice, clean grounds, on the Duck River, a few pull-throughs, no sewer hook-ups. We will go back there, enjoyed it. We are scheduled to camp at Cedars of Lebanon SP in June, but have no experience there. It is about 20min from M'boro, but traffic can be so congested in town that's a guess.

I wish I knew more to help you; may see you in June!

Alan

Cedars of Lebanon

We camped at Cedars of Lebanon last spring. I would check to make sure one of the campgrounds with long enough spaces will be available for your rig. I think the main campground, west of the road, would work, we saw lots of Class A's in there so you should fit fine.

We liked the park, despite 5 days of rain. One word of caution... .the landscape timbers they use around campsites are like ice when wet.... by all rights, when i stepped wrong on one that was at a 45 degree angle, I should have come away with much worse injuries than a bruised rib and ego. So be careful.

In Nashville, can highly recommend Seven Points COE on J. Percy Priest Lake. 10 minutes east of Downtown Nashville (well not in rush hour) it is a real gem of a campground. Waterfront sites are pretty much always gone to locals who play the reservation game, but there really isn't a bad campsite. you would never know that you are so close to a city.

Thanks so much for the recommendations - will check the parks out! The KOA sounds nice in Nashville Mrjkq, donít like the price much, though...
