Liars and loosers

My great Dad always said that there are two types of people who go to Casinos....Liars and loosers. With that said....one should always have a little aprehension about any site that would advertise a free site. There are no free lunches...yep my Dad again....

you all might look up "The Virginian" in Jackson, Wyoming (next to Teton Nat'l Park). It is over $100 before the taxes which puts it up there in the $120 range.

Oh - free Ca$hino parking!? The same place where the buffet with the free hot dog and drink are all the way in the back past the slots & video machines, the $50 tables, the $30 tables, the $10, $5, and $2 tables, the bar, more slots, video games, and - if you can still hear anything, that free hot dog is free if it's cold from yesterday but it costs $5 for a nice fresh hot one that you can eat while sitting at the bar with a video poker game ready to roll right in front of you. And by this point you are hoping everything is still there when you get back to that free spot - not being negative, it's just the reality of the casino business model and it does seem to work for them so onward and upward. Some are better than others I'm sure. Our experience - we stopped for some gas at a casino in New Mexico late one afternoon / early evening and we had a small crowd of people several with their dogs around our Airstream in a matter of minutes asking to look inside and wondering how much it cost - we got back on good old I-40 with all our best friends the long haulers pretty quickly.

You should hang around me. Under those terms I qualify as a mentor.

Cheers,
John

It's truly amazing how much you can spend at Wal-Mart when you don't need a thing - why else would they offer 'free' overnight parking. The casino sounds a lot more entertaining and with hook ups and a restaurant - that would be my choice.
