I'd like to see some actual evidence of towing on those last two cars, vs. beauty shots in front of an Airstream.

I think you're right... these smack of "midlife crisis pron." I discovered the hard way that you CAN tow a 31' 6000# trailer with a 1981 Volvo station wagon... but that doesn't mean one SHOULD!

I couldn't believe the 5th wheel on a U-haul pic... wonder how that thing tracks in turns, and if they used extra CHAINS to secure the TV onto the trailer! I'd pay to see them nose into a gas station without pull-through ability, which for that rig would be most city gas stations!

It seems I love the mountains and deserts more than my friends do. I sure miss them!
