!More Road Pics!

In case you missed photos of the first leg, here is the link to the thread: http://www.airforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17017

I've uploaded the second leg of our current 6+ mo road trip onto ofoto.com. Attached is the link for those interested in viewing. Note that you do not need to join to view. Simply click on the button"View Photos without signing in" to the right of the photograph.

Leg two of our current road trip covers from Page/Lake Powell AZ to Flagstaff AZ to Santa Fe NM to Molas Pass CO to Silverton CO to Ouray CO. With a few field trial pics of Kenzie taken in February 2005 near Fairfield CA, before out trip.

We get limited internet access, so if are slow to respond to your PMs, that is the reason! Enough already, here is the link for leg 2 photos!

Enjoy!

Looks fun

Thanks for sharing your trip images . You are in some of my favorite places to visit. I notice that you are traveling in a 28' trailer, in your experience, how does that workout for you? Especially when boondocking and in forest service campgrounds. Thanks again and have a great trip.

M&A,

Great photos. I know your roads on this segment well - some of our favorite places. I also recognize the view from Broken Arrow in Glorieta! Glad you enjoyed it.

Stay safe and keep sending photos - they are just terrific!

Rodney -

The 28ftr Int'l is working out great for us. It's just myself and my wife (and our 90 lbs golden retriever), but for the first month we were joined by two adult friends, and it still worked out great for us. We haven't had any problems pulling into sites, nor boondocking, so far (knock on wood!), although we have not stayed in any forest service campgrounds - mostly KOAs or other similar campgrounds. I think if we had gotten the 25 ftr or anything smaller we'd be feeling a little too tight as we are full timing for about 6 - 9 mos until we complete the trip.

Uh oh! black water flood!

Yikes. I did the stupidest thing today. The manual says to close the black water drain for a few minutes when using the sewer flush hookup, so I did. Problem is I forgot I did that and the black tank started to overflow!

We had water all over the bathroom and flowing into the hallway, bedroom, and kitchen galley.

We cleaned up with towels and mopped. But since some of the water mixed with old black water remnants, should I disinfect the whole place? Or are we probably OK with just drying up and mopping (we used a swiffer mop and our floors are the standard linolium - no carpets, luckily).

Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the mess. That would have been a good road trip photo to share!
