Monroeville, PA

We're hoping to attend a family wedding in Monroeville, PA this summer, but I can't find any campgrounds closer than 30 minutes away. Does anyone know of any campgrounds or courtesy parking a bit closer in? I will call the hotel where most of the guest are staying and see if they mind if we park there for a couple nights, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to put it out there. I just don't know the area at all. Thanks!

Sorry to say there are no campgrounds closer then that in Pittsburgh. Fox Den Campground or Keystone S.P. are both east of there. I have courtesy parking at my place in Bethel Park 15102 I'm about 40 min or 25 miles form Monv.

It's been a few years since I've been out that way and this place is about 29 miles from Monroeville via the Turnpike. I remember seeing it but I'm not sure if this place is still in operation. Here's the info so you can check it out. It's in Cranberry Twp. and is close to the Turnpike and hwy 79/279. Actually located on RT. 228 (Mars Road). This area is also called Warrendale, PA. on maps.

Thanks for the input. I guess if the hotel doesn't allow us to park, we'll just have to drive a bit.

There is a KOA just off of the New Stanton exit of the PA turnpike in Madison PA. You are ~30 min to Monroeville or so. Very easy access off of I-70/I-76.
