Missouri's newest State Park, Echo Bluff

This park is very well designed, the campground is spacious and the visitors center is a sight to see. Floating, bicycling and walking trails are offered at this park. Just a few miles away is Eminence, Missouri where the Natural Springs are cool to see.

Haven't camped anywhere in Missouri yet. This looks like an excellent place for my first trip to that state!

Not far from the Springfield area so I need to put on my list. Where did Missouri find the money?

Looks like there was an Oliver trailer parked nearby.

Reading the specs there are sites with water/electricity and sites with sewer too. Are all the sites out in the open in RV park fashion?

I camped in Wallace State Park in Missouri both going and coming back from my recent trip to Wisconsin for the airshow. Very nice campsite, pull-thru with electric.

The place is beautiful, the camp hosts are friendly, and it's only a few miles off I-35.

If that's a fair sample of Missouri State Parks, they do a good job.

Yes the area where the sites are located was cleared to build the campground, they planted a variety of trees that will take some time to provide shade and the wooded camping experience. The area surrounding the area is beautiful, Sinking Creek runs along the park with many open areas to get to the water. Just down the road is the Current River which is an excellent float. The campsites are well spaced and the scenery is awesome, we would like to return in the fall to experience the wonderful fall colors.

We're a little bit spoiled here in Missouri. We have a wealth of state parks with beautiful well maintained campgrounds. I used to be surprised at how much it cost to stay at poorly designed or barely maintained parks in other states.
