Question MC-Golf cart trailer on 5th Wheel

I've been trying to figure this one out for a while. This past October I found a 5th wheel pulling an 800 Boulevard, from Pittsburg Pa to Fl. The owner said he never had any problems but many coming to take a look. Seems that the key is that it is a 2/4 point hookup.

The receiver, attached to the 5th Wheel, has an extension that attaches to a bar with two points of attachment This two point attaches to another two point attachment that attaches to the "Golf cart trailer"

Finally, the two wheels on the golf cart trailer are swivels.

Looks interesting. Don't plan on adding one to you AS TT. Way too many people including myself will tell you "NO, don't do it". The AS frame can't handle towing anything. Even a bike rack can ruin the AS

Fast Master Products makes something along these lines. They come in single and two wheel configurations. I have a friend who uses one on her SOB MoHo to carry a trike bicycle for a handicapped child.

As 3 Dog has already indicated they're really not suited for an AS TT. They have language on their webpage about the owner being responsible for evaluating their trailer frames.

The ultimate single wheel trailer system.

Regards,

Kevin

Thanks for the link. Still not sure what I'm going to do.

I was thinking to run channel iron along the frame and tie into A frame

That's interesting... it's not really a trailer, it's a fixed platform supported at the front by the receiver, and in the back by dolly wheels. I'd be concerned about those tires/bearings at highway speeds. I know that there are small two-wheeled utility trailers that use them, but if it were behind something like a 5th wheel where it can't be seen, felt, or heard until the golf car is bouncing down the road on it's own... I dunno...
