Last trip of the season. The leaves are really starting to change. Peaceful place. Quiet campground. Listened to The St Louis Cardinals on the radio last night. One of the first times we've used the sound system. Still haven't used the TV. Ha

Lovely.

Trees are just starting to seriously turn, here in central Illinois, although we already enjoyed a glorious fall in PA and OH.

My favorite time of year.

I love the area around Mark Twain State Park. Beautiful and the fact the Cardinals won makes it oh so sweet!

We actually saw a few other airstreams up there. There are a lot of big RV type lots where you rent a pad for a year, and just park your rig. A lot of big fifth wheel rigs, but a few larger airstreams mixed in.
The bluffs along the lake and the Salt River below the dam are perfect right now.
I put one of those electric type radiator heaters in the trailer. Have never tried one before. Since we had elec hook up, I thought I'd see how they worked. Not bad! Saves a bit on propane, when the temp goes below freezing. The heat pump is a bit loud for light sleepers.
