Maiden Voyage

I have to share because we are hooked and can't wait for the next trip.

With dogs buckled, trailer packed and the Expedition full of gas. We set out on the maiden voyage. Close to 8,000 miles and a little over a month starting in Texas, traveled to Oklahoma, then to Kansas, next Nebraska, then Iowa and finally South Dakota. Return trip included Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

The trip North was on main highway's because we were a little pressed for time. The return trip was a lot different, we took nothing but back roads and zig-zagged all the way back.

Not only was this the maiden voyage for StarStream but also the maiden voyage taking all the dogs. Everyone was so relaxed and looking forward to the next trip.

In one of the photos, you can see the cattle dog looking out the window keeping an eye on the camp.

Maiden Voyage

Wow, that was some maiden voyage! We made a 6,000 mile trip this summer to South Dakota and Yellowstone, but we had been on lots of shorter trips to get us ready.
Love the pictures of your dogs.

Thank you All.

The trailer is a work in progress. As long as the dogs and the wife are happy camping in an aluminum tent with air conditioning.....Life is good
