Our interest in Mooses got started when SuEllyn named her cable labels Moose Tags. It kind of took off from there. The pursuit of Mooses has become SuEllyn's passion. We take Lucy to Wyoming and Maine every year to search out Mooses.

Let me know where you pit stop in Laramie as you make your way down. Looking for a stopover on my way to Grand Tetons later this month.

We haven't decided yet where we will camp in Laramie. We'll post a full report when we get there.

We had another good day of Moosing in the Bighorn National Forest. We had a good sighting of a group of four young adults grazing together.

We took a run up to Sheridan this morning. Along the way we spotted a really nice Long Horn in someone's yard and a really nice Airstream set up in a field.

We are thinking about heading down to Laramie tomorrow.

I thought mooses were rarely seen in groups, but you keep finding them in groups.

We saw one from about a quarter mile away today. I posted a picture on my Road Trips 2010 thread.

You are correct, Gene. Most Moose sightings are one or maybe two. More than two in a single sighting is rare. We have two sightings of four on this trip.

Well, Lucy has finally departed Buffalo. The Moose hunting was so good, we ended up spending eleven nights in Buffalo. We stayed at the Indian Campground right in Buffalo. It was really nice with five point hook-ups. Lucy will stay there again next year.

Lucy headed south to Laramie, Wyoming. We took the Interstate as far as Casper. We then took Wyoming 487 down to Medicine Bow, and US 30 on into Laramie. It was a good route that gave Lucy a break from the Interstate. The route took us through Medicine Bow and Rock River, both cute little town. It also took us through Bosler which is a virtual ghost town. It was kind of sad going through there.

There were some interesting rock formations not far out of Buffalo (#1). In Medicine Bow, we caught a poor old Airstream out in a yard yearning to go on a trip. He was really jealous to see Lucy go by (#2). We also got a photo of the historic Virginian Hotel (#3).

Lucy made camp at the KOA in Laramie. We are planning to stay here two or three days so we can check out the Moose activity around Walden, Colorado. Laramie also has some really significant historic buildings in its Central Business District which we plan to check out tomorrow.

Your last photo from yesterday caught one of my favorite greasy spoons in Buffalo...The Dash Inn. They have the best burger in the area...the Dash Burger. Also, their Chili-Cheese Fries are awesome!!!

The Dash In is right next to the driveway to the Indian Campground. We never did make it there, though. They were always closed by the time we got back to town.

Lucy is camped in Laramie. We drove down Fort Collins, Colorado, this morning to take a look at an Alaskan Truck Camper. We have been wanting to look at one for some time, and the dealer in Fort Collins is the closest one to Florida. We are planning ahead for when Olivia and Daisy wear out. We are considering pulling Lucy with a truck camper so that we can take side trips into more remote terrain.

This dealership is using a late model 16' Bambi for their sales office in the back of the lot.

We came back to Laramie and took a look around downtown. We saw a net Argosy parked down by the train station.

Laramie, Wyoming, seems like a very unlikely place to have the first criminal trial in history to have women on the jury.

Can you really do that? Are you talking about a canopy or a camper?
ps, enjoying your journey
