Seems like everyone is getting back on the road. Hope to see some of you somewhere along the way.

Out of curiosity, I looked up Campers Village at the Grand Canyon as we plan a trip there in a year or two and found this review. You might want to check it out Brian before you commit to staying there.

If you are driving on SR101 in Santa Barbara, and your GPS tells you to get off 101 and take SR154, don't do it. It may be a lot shorter, but it's murder when towing a trailer. Ask me how I know this...

They are these cool orange plastic cable labels that have a surface that is easy to write on that you can label your plugs and cords. I used to have to run my hand down the cables from my computer to the plug/external equipment. I put labels on both ends.

We're settled in to the Red Barn CG here in Roswell. It's really a nice place. It's really cute and clean and has 5 point hook ups. Lucy's dinette window overlooks a field of alfalfa.

We spent the day in Roswell doing the tourist thing. We went to the UFO museum. It was really pretty cool.

We went by Wal-Mart and got microwave hamburgers to take back to Lucy. We will be dining large tonight right on the alfalfa field.

WE just stayed at campers village. Very good location to the Grand Canyon. Also stay close to office for internet. Not sure what issues others had. It was fine and very convenient when inside the GC is overfull.

If you want to stay in the GC itself book early. We thought we would have no problem 2 weeks ago during the week and there was not a space to be ihad in GC. In Williams a good 40 min. south Grand Canyon Motel and RV is very nice and Xanterra runs the huge train operations and RAilway rv. We felt lucky we did not have to go all the way or 1/2 way back to Williams for the night. Campers had lots of room and the Park rangers sent us there.

We're still in Roswell tonight. We extended after the campground owner comped us a night for assisting her to set up her wifi to reach all of the sites.

We spent the day touring Roswell. We went to the City Zoo. It was really neat and free. We also went to the City Museum in a 1906 mansion that has its original fixtures and furnishings.

We are back at Lucy getting things ready to head out in the morning. We're planning on going as far as Lordsburg, New Mexico tomorrow and hit the KOA there.

Brian, thanks for the update. I hope you can fix the wifi at many more campgrounds.

That lighted "statue" at the bottom of the bannister is pretty amazing. The house looks post Victorian, so I wonder why they had a Victorian decoration like that.

Moose Tags have a close alien connection. There's a story about the Mooses from Nar (a planet in the Adirolf Star System). The story can be found on the secondary page under the Moose Tales tab on moosetags.com.
