How far are you from Jackson Hole? This morning on the Weather Channel they showed a photo from there and the Red Maples were already changing. They were a beautiful crimson. Hope you are getting some nice colors or get some along the way.

Continue to have a safe trip and keep the photos coming!

I have a real soft spot for the southern section. There is good boondocking off polecat road near crazy woman creek, and 4 star scenery all around. I can't begin to express how much I wish I was there right now. Keep them pics and trip updates coming.

Bighorn National Forest is about 300 miles from the Jackson Hole area. Most of the trees here are evergreens, so there's not a lot of color going on.

We are still in Ranchester tonight. We spent another day in the Bighorns exploring some of the back roads.

We plan to break camp in the morning and head toward Utah. We are still trying to decide which way to go. Stay tuned.

We've been to Bighorn before, but this was our first time to the South Section. The Moose viewing was not as good as Spring, '07. We've decided that when the Government leases the grazing rights during the summer months, the cattle keep the Moose in the high country. We're planning to come back in May, 2009.

Yesterday we broke camp in Ranchester and headed west with Lucy. We stopped for the night at Western Hills CG in Rawlins, Wyoming. We took a ride around town and found a pair of Airstreams in a back yard. We left Rawlins this morning and headed toward Salt Lake City. We stopped in Rock Springs, Wyoming. There are some really neat old biulding there. We shot a few pictures. We arrived in SLC and have made camp at the Pony Express RV Resort in North Salt Lake City.

No, Lucy won't get moss on her. We try to keep her moving. We're pushing 300 nights in her, and She's approaching 40,000 miles under tow.I guess that's pretty good for having Lucy a little over two years.

We're here in Salt Lake City Taking in the mountain scenery. Us people from Florida are easily entertained. We got a late start. We drove down to Draper and did the Sam's, Wal-Mart, the Camping World and Ikea. We brought some presents for Lucy. We have an Airstream neighbor right across the street.

Is that camp ground in Salt Lake City a pass through camp ground? I'm sorry for the folks in SLC, but it looks like one of the infamous parking lot camp grounds in California. It looks well maintained, but I don't see how you get out of Lucy's door in the mornings without dinging Daisy.

Other than this camp ground, I have throughly enjoy camping with you guys on this trip and hope to see you at the Can Opener in January.

It's tight here, but it's nice and has 5 point hook-ups. Since we don't spend much time in Lucy or at the CG, it's not a big deal. Most of the campers that we have met here are working in the area and here for several months.
