How about the volume of water going over American Falls? (in the fifth shot taken from below) Hard to put into words! I had always downplayed Niagara Falls as just a tourist attraction, until we went there in the 90's. Wow.

If you are staying today, and have time, there is an amazing butterfly collection where you actually walk inside their home and they land on you and so forth. Stunning! On the Canadian side as I recall.

Thanks for the photos.

Lucy is still camped in Lockport, New York. Today we traveled about sixty miles over to Hamilton, Ontario, to visit with dear friends who live here in Hamilton. They spend the winter every year in Santa Rosa Beach, and we have come to know them very well over the last fifteen years.

We had a very nice visit, and two other friends that we know from Florida came over. Our friends live in a historic house right on Lake Ontario. It is a really beautiful setting. Late this afternoon we crossed back into the United States and returned to Lucy in time for supper. On the way back to the campground, we came across a really old Mail Pouch Tobacco Sign on the side of an old barn. Over 20,000 of these advertising signs were painted on barns in 22 states in the East and Midwest starting in 1890.

We have started to pack up tonight in preparation to pull out tomorrow.

Tonight's pictures include:

- Niagara River is the border between the United States and Canada.
- The mid point on the bridge is the actual border.
- Coming into Ontario.
- Coming into Hamilton, Ontario.
- Bridge into Burlington.
- Our Friends' house.
- Lake Ontario out their back door.
- Coming back into the United States at Lewiston, New York.
- Mail Pouch Tobacco barn sign on NY 104 near Ransomville, New York.
- Sunset at Lucy's campground.

Lucy broke camp in Lockport, New York this morning. We headed south through the New York countryside and eventually crossed into Pennsylvania on US 219. We continued south to Limestone, Pennsylvania where we got Lucy a very nice Campsite at Penn Wood Airstream Park. It is a campground exclusively for Airstreams. Lucy settled in with a whole bunch of other Airstreams. Lucy really likes it here. We met several other Airstreamers who we know electronically from Airstream Forums.

On the way down here, we did come across another of the Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn Signs. This one was in a lot better shape than the one we saw yesterday.

After we got Lucy settled in, we took quick trip to up to Wal-Mart in nearby Clarion, Pennsylvania and got some provisions.

We came back to Lucy's campground and got settled in for the night.

Tonight's pictures include:

- Ski Sloped at Ellicottvillle, New York.
- Downtown Ellicottville.
- Entering Pennsylvania on US 219.
- Downtown Bradford, Pennsylvania.
- Zippo Lighter Factory in Bradford. Zippo was founded here in 1932 and has made over one half billion lighters her since.
- Old railroad depot in Kane, Pennsylvania.
- Downtown Kane, Pennsylvania.
- Old Mai, Pouch Barn in Leeper, Pennsylvania.
- Coming into Penn Wood Airstream Park.
- Lucy getting settled into her campsite.

Lucy is still camped at the Penn Wood Airstream Park near New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This morning we realized that were only 30 miles away from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, the home of Punxsutawney Phil, the world famous Ground Hog. Phil is the celebrity Ground Hog who predicts the continuation of winter every February 2nd in front of 40,000 spectators and the national media.

When we arrived in Punxsutawney this afternoon, we immediately went to the city library where Phil resides when not making celebrity appearances. Phil's apartment is located in the same building as the Police Department for security reasons. We found Phil asleep in his apartment in the library. He did manage to open one eye to acknowledge our visit. We then proceeded to Gobblers Knob where Phil makes his annual appearance.

We drove back to Lucy's campground through some very scenic countryside. We arrived at Lucy where we had a great microwave supper and settled in for the night.

Tonight's pictures include:

- Main Street, New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
- Downtown Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
- Punxsutawney Phil in person.
- SuEllyn posing with statue of Phil outside of his borrow.
- Gobblers Knob.
- Stage where Phil appears in person every February 2nd.
- SuEllyn opening Phil's ceremonial burrow.
- Pennsylvania countryside.
- Unpaved road on the way back to the campground,
- Faded Mail Pouch barn sign along the highway.

Lucy is still at the Penn Wood Airstream Park in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A rain storm was coming in today, so we decided to take a look at one of the nearby towns. Clarion is just about ten miles north of the campground.

We drove up to Clarion this afternoon. Clarion is the seat of Clarion County which was formed in 1839. Clarion is also the home of Clarion University which was founded in 1867 and is part of the Pennsylvania State University System. We looked around the campus a bit and then toured around town for awhile.

As predicted, the rain storm moved in, so we made our way back to Lucy's campground. It was still raining back at the campground. The rain beating down on Lucy's aluminum roof made the perfect atmosphere for a nice afternoon nap.

The rain finally moved on, and we settled into Lucy for the night.

Tonight's pictures include:

- Lucy relaxing with friends at Penn Wood Airstream Park.
- Large barn on the way to Clarion.
- The 1894 Clarion University Administrative Building.
- The 1902 Clarion University Chapel.
- Main Street, Clarion, Pennsylvania.
- The 1894 Clarion County Courthouse.
- World War I 4.7" Cannon on display on the courthouse grounds. It was made by the Studebaker Motor Company.
- Victorian home in Downtown Clarion.
- The 1873 Clarion County Jail which is still in use today.
- Victorian turret home in Clarion.

Lucy is still camped at the Penn Wood Airstream Park. We took a run over to Pittsburgh (about 65 miles) to take a look around. We toured downtown Pittsburgh and took a walk around the Penn Avenue Strip District. We only stayed a couple of hours as we decided to head out before rush hour commenced.

We made it back to Lucy where we had supper and got settled in for the night.

Tonight's pictures include:

- Another faded Mail Pouch barn Sign.
- Armstrong County Courthouse, Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
- The 1871 Armstrong County Jail.
- Pittsburgh Skyline in the rain.
- Downtown Pittsbutgh.
- Penn Avenue Strip District Market.
- 16th Street Bridge.
- Bicycle rental station in Downtown Pittsburgh.
- Olive Oil aisle at the 1902 Salvatore Samseri Italian Grocery on Penn Avenue.
- Heinz Company Factory in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Thanks for the tip. I don't think that we will make it over that far as we only have a short day today.

We are still camped at the Penn Wood Airstream Park. Today we took a ride and toured Brookville, Reynoldsville, and DuBois, Pennsylvania. We had a nice afternoon looking around.

We came back to the campground in time for the late afternoon happy hour with our Airstream neighbors. We had supper in Lucy and settled in for the night. We are planning to head into Ohio tomorrow.

Tonight's pictures:

- The very ornate 1869 Jefferson County Courthouse in Brookville, Pennsylvania.
- The Regis F. McCabe Building in Brookville. No relation that I know of.
- The 1904 Brookville Hotel.
- Tonell's Jewelry on Main Street in Brookville. SuEllyn found the metal ring guard here that she a been looking for.
- Downtown DuBois, Pennsylvania.
- Really neat art deco Dubois Diner sign.
- Another nice art deco sign in DuBois.
- Trench cutter that can cut a foot deep trench in the roadway.
- Another faded Mail Pouch sign on the side of an old building in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.
- Vintage Frosty Freeze in Rynoldsville.

Lucy broke camp this morning at Penn Wood Airstream Park. We said our good byes to our Airstream neighbors, and managed to get Lucy rolling right at the crack of noon.

We headed out in a westerly direction across the Pennsylvania countryside. Within an hour or so, we crossed into Ohio. Fred needed fuel when we entered Ohio. We had held out because Diesel was 30 cents a gallon less than it was in Pennsylvania. That tank of diesel was nearly $10 less expensive in Ohio. That "Gas Buddy" app on our smart phones is worth its weight in gold.

We continued into Ohio and traveled through Youngstown, Akron, and Mansfield. We decided to call it quits for the night at Marengo, Ohio. We got Lucy a campsite at the Cardinal Center Campground.

We had supper in Lucy and have gotten settled in for the night.

Tonight's pictures:

- Emlenton, Pennsylvania on the Allegheny River.
- Entering Ohio.
- Goodyear World Headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
- Downtown Akron Skyline.
- Fred and the Girls getting settled in at the campground.
- SuEllyn slipping into Lucy.
