Yes, those are people in the pond at the base of the falls. If you blow up the picture, you can see the people better.

We were told that it has been quite dry here for the past several weeks, and that is why the falls are so puny at the moment.

We no more than got Lucy in place on her campsite than we were invited to a sunset Margarita Party. We had a very nice time and got to meet a number of other Airstreamers at the campground. All of these folks were Airforums members including mrprez and roadtoaster. We had a great time.

We had supper in Lucy and relaxed for the evening.

Awesome! Sue and I will be there the last week in August. Can't wait!

Lucy broke camp at the Airstream park in Crossville this morning. We headed out and made our was over to Nashville. We got Lucy settled in at a nice campground and went over to visit dear friends here in Nashville. We had a very nice dinner and visit.

We are making our way back toward Santa Rosa Beach.

We are at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park on Music Valley Drive. They have a Passport America rate of $29.50 plus tax. It's a nice campground with quite a few shade trees. The sites are pretty tight.

We also enjoyed our visit to TCPC and meeting everyone. It's not often that you can check into a campground and within 30 minutes be invited to a cocktail party.

We plan to return soon.

Brian

Lucy Made it Home.

Lucy packed up in Nashville this morning and we were actually out on the highway at
9:00 AM We made our way through the remainder of Tennessee and into Alabama. We stopped to get Fred some diesel fuel in Cullman, Alabama. After fueling Fred, we did our routine check of Lucy's running gear. We notice a problem with Lucy's right rear tire. What first appeared to be a stone in the tread, was a 1 1/2" machine screw. We made our way to a local tire store in Cullman. We removed Lucy's tire and wheel ourselves as Lucy is particular about her wheel/tire removal. The tire store removed the screw and put a patch on the inside of the tire. We put the tire back on and we were ready to go.

We continued through the rest of Alabama and into Florida at Paxton on US 331. We made it home in time to go to Sunset on the ocean. Lucy is settled in at the home campground.

We will get her re-outfitted for a big trip out west.

Brian

For another option in Nashville between March and October try COE Seven Points on Percy Priest Lake 15 minutes east of Nashville. Nice sites good shade. Access is through a residential rural area but once you are in campground you'd never know how close to civilization you are.
