I don't think they're spoofers, either... most of the reviews have several previous postings

After reading this I looked up some of the CG we have used and compared the reviews to our experience.

My biggest surprise was how far down Country Heaven New Holland Pa. has dropped since the change of ownership. It used to be without a doubt the best we had ever used. it is now a contestant with this one.

It's sometimes kind of hard to tell from the user reviews. I looked at White's City rv park here in New Mexico, which is the true pits, so bad that the NM Assn of RV Parks refuses to list them even among their free listings. (It's right at the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns NP and listed under Carlsbad in the reviews.) Amazingly, somebody gave it a high rating even though other reviews were pretty much spot-on, namely, rotten.

We stayed at that campground 2 years ago, and then day tripped into Chicago. It's hard to put into words how bad the campground is. It's full of broken down trailers that have not moved in years. It's right next to a very busy high speed rail road track. How it wins any Jellystone awards is beyond me. I got the feeling most of the trailers are weekend getaways for people from Gary and Chicago. We have also stayed at other Jellystones and they where great, but Portage was a HUGE disappointment.

RV Park review is a great site, we use it all the time.
