Looking for a place to stay in La Canada/La Crescenta any thoughts?

We are looking for a place to stay in December for about a week. So far I'm not finding anything that doesn't require at least a half hour drive. Has anyone found a place preferably with full hookups in this area?

Your options are going to be limited up in that part of town. You can head west/northwest into the Valley and there are a few places (Van Nuys, Northridge, Santa Clarita) or you head east (Pomona KOA, San Dimas).

Without full hookups, there are some places just north in the mountains, but that can be dicey in the winter.

Either way, you're going to be driving a bit, although 30 minutes will be par for that part of town
