London ON recommendations?
We're planning to stop near London Ontario on our way to the WBCCI International Rally this June. We're looking for kid-friendly (4 yrs old) things to see or do while in the area for 1 day. We like historic houses, gardens, kid-friendly museums, trains, and walking tours. Any suggestions?
We're also looking for campground recommendations, or 1-2 night courtesy parking if anyone up there can offer it. Thanks

Hey, not a bad idea! I hear they'll let people try their test rig. I've always wanted to try it...
But unfortunately, that's not the sort of "family friendly" activity we were looking for. Does anyone else have suggestions in the London area?

Hey, maybe they'll let the wife and kids ride in the trailer while you do the slalom in the Intrepid! that should be fun! Hey, why not? if its safe to ride around w/ that setup, its safe to ride in the back, too!!
(ok, I'm done now)

Are you coming a little further east??
Hello .. How are you? If you were coming a little further east I would suggest a lovely private campground called Green Acre Park. Lovely place we were there last fall. It is near St. Jacob's an Mennonite community market only 10 minutes away. Beautiful countryside .. near the cities of Guelph and Waterloo. Annie

Do try out the Intrepid and 34' Airstream
I drove that combination last spring and was amazed how well it towed. It is worth the visit to try it out. Would highly recommend it .. Annie

I should have made myself more clear. We're actually coming FROM the east, down the 401 from Toronto. So without checking my map, it sounds like we'll go right by the area you mentioned. Sounds like a nice spot.

Don, you should go camping at Ft DeSoto County Park. GREAT place! But the trick is to get a reservation in advance. They only accept them in person, in cash.
