Listen to this....

I went to Discount tire this past week for annual tires. I stated no fewer than 4 times I must be present while the AS was jacked up and worked on. After about a half hour, I notice my 34' jacked up out in the lot...... Kaboom, my head explodes!
I go out to find 12000 pounds of Airstream jacked up on a single jack, on my tank pan! Holy s@&t batman!
I immediately shut down the work, and summon the manager!
He arrives and identifies the problem!
I go total psycho.... I told him I am a very intolerant person when crossed!
He offers to get their loss department involved.... I reminded him my Airstream is blocking no fewer than 5 bays, and will not move out of their way until problem is resolved here and now! He then asks what I would accept.....
I proposed a full refund if the $1200 cash I just paid for the 6 new tires, and new Michelins on my Excursion. Without hesitation, they grab my keys, and within minutes, my cash is returned, the Ex has new tires, and I have all paperwork including road hazard certificates in hand. $3000 in free Michelin tires later I roll out their door! Not bad for a crunched piece of sheet metal!
Luckily just the side of the pan got crunched, and no leaks, as it completely missed a tank! Whew!
Moral of the story, never leave your Airstream unattended at the tire shop!

Don't blame you one bit! Under those circumstances, I would have found it difficult to maintain my composure. I'm glad you came out OK. I'm picking up my BAMBI 16 tomorrow and I'm already a very protective mommy!

This scenario is exactly why I take my tires/rims to the tire shop to have the new tires mounted. I only trust "me" to safely and properly raise my Avion 34W up off of the ground.

Good opportunity to inspect the brakes and bearings.
