If you want to visit Olympic, that map won't work.
I can give better suggestions (I worked there 34 years and from Port Angeles)

Also, I would keep going across North Cascades Hiway, then visit Lake Roosevelt.
Of course it leaves out loads of 'peanut parks' and monuments etc.

May as well visit Oregon Caves also- that route goes right by it. Although don't take a trialer or large rig up that road.
