This is a good question as there is no pad on a fridge that says "level me" that I know of.

From what I can tell, the floor of the freezer compartment is the best solid referent. It should be firmly affixed to the frame and the frame should be the fundamental reference for the cooling parts.

If the floor of the freezer compartment is level, you should be able to put a level on the edge of the door and swing it back and forth and stay level, too. Any other solid, attached to the frame, parts should also be plumb horizontal or vertical, too.

I use my circular bubble level in several areas of the refrigerator and freezer. You evenutally will come upon some commenality in spots any of which then are usable as the point to level from.
