I need to leave my trailer in AZ for the month of June, it will be on a site or in storage, whatever I can find. Do you think that is an issue? Is that ok with the sun and heat? I am worried. Thanks.
We would cover the tires for excessive sun damage (of course that is not going to happen in a month) but if it's easy to cover them why not. If possible cover the windows to avoid sun ray damage to fabrics or surfaces inside and to keep a little bit of the heat outside. I would place a bucket of water inside the trailer, this could help both with moisture and a potential landing place for a mouse that might wander in. We do get monsoon storms here mid to late summer so I would not advise to leave a hatch or a window open as it might blow off if the right breeze catches it at the correct angle.
No matter where you are, under cover is better than out in a field. Inside a barn is better than just under a roof. All that said, you go camping and do stuff. I don't ever recall camping by pulling my trailer into a barn. . No greater risk weather wise in storage than out at a campsite. I *would* make sure the site is secure.
